THE ICELANDIC MUSEUM AWARD 2010
The Living Art Museum was yesterday awarded the Icelandic Museum Award 2010 by the President of Iceland. Birta Guðjónsdóttir, chairman of the board, accepted the recognition on behalf of the museum.

You are welcome to join us at the Living Art Museum on Saturday April 10th to meet the seven young, Icelandic artists, who have been invited by the museum to select works from its collections to be exhibited. They have explored the collection over the past three weeks and install the works of their selection for Saturday. More
Updated April 8, 2010 MEMBER OF THE MONTH
A tradition has developed at the museum to randomly select a member from the Association of the Living Art Museum, to become the Member of the month, with his/her contribution on the museum website.
The museum has now restarted this tradition with alterations. Each member of the month is now invited to install his/her works at a specific spot at the premises of the museum. The first member of the month in our new location is Icelandic artist Sara Björnsdóttir. More
