Finissage: ANTECHAMBER

Soon the solo exhibition ANTECHAMBER by Claudia Hausfeld will come to an end. We invite you to join us for a finissage next Saturday the 1st of March from 16:00-18:00. Come and celebrate with us!

"I am a manikin of tangible humbleness, an orphan from the roadside infrastructure built for the epic and grand future of holding-it-together when things fall apart."
- A portion of a riddle found in a text by Erin Honeycutt, published in conjunction with the exhibition by the same name, based on conversations between the artist and the writer.

Claudia Hausfeld (b. 1980 in East Berlin, GDR) studied photography in Zürich, Switzerland and graduated with a BA in fine arts from LHÍ. Her practice oscillates between photography and sculpture and interrogates the relationship between images and space. She employs a variety of materials to propose precarious environments that gently erode notions of the real. Claudia lives and works in Reykjavík.
