The Reading Club: The Artist's Studio
The next reading evening will take place Thursday, May 18 at The Living Art Museum.. The topic this time is the artist’s studio and Anna Líndal will lead the discussion. Karl Ómarsson will facilitate the evening. There is no special reading material provided, but ICI in Berlin has given talks on the theme STUDIO which are available online and serve as inspiration for the dialogue (see links below). The role and image of the studio is multifaceted, and offers fruitful speculations about the profession and the society from which visual art springs.
The conversation will take into account those who attend, and will take place either in Icelandic or English.
